Update - Prestige Pavers
I sent an email to Elite Pavers and was quite pleasantly surprised when Stephanie Mauldin returned my email stating that Elite would be happy to come out to my house and inspect the situation.
I’m happy to report that Rick Mauldin took time out of his busy day - to inspect and repair what he termed as a “Minor” problem that the original contractor was unable, or unwilling to do… and Rick would not accept payment for his efforts. What a nice guy!
Kudos to Rick and Stephanie Mauldin and their great response.
I will certainly recommend Elite Pavers to all…

Update - Not BBS Member
I checked the Northwest Florida Better Business Bureau and found that Prestige Pavers is not a member.
I did find other paver business in the Panama City area that may be an option to help us get this subsidance problem remedied.

Prestige Pavers - MFR
When we had our pool area paver work done in the Summer of 2005 we contracted with Prestige Pavers of Panama City.
They did a wonderful job and we were more than happy with their work.
About 10 or 12 months after their work was completed, in the spring of 2006 we noticed that a few of our pavers at one end of the pool had started to subside a bit.
Not wanting this situation to continue, we attempted to contact Prestige Pavers but were always met by the answering machine. In any event, we left several phone messages requested someone come out to our house and inspect this situation and see what could be done to stop what was happening and get our rew subsided pavers back to where they should be.
After several weeks of not hearing from Prestige, I called my co-worker, Kelly Wise in Dothan. Kelly’s brother, Scott, is the owner of Prestige Pavers. This was probably in July or August of 2006.
Kelly gave me Scott’s cell phone number and I was able to contact him and advise him of the situation. Scott said he’d go to my house personally and inspect the pavers and get back to me. At the time, he asked if he could access the pool area and he asked if we had any dogs that he might encounter there. I told Scott that the pool area was unlocked and we had no dogs outside the home during the day when we weren’t there.
I never heard back from Scott.
A couple of week later, I contact Scott again by phone and he once again, assured me that he would get someone over there to inspect our pavers and see what needed to be done.
I never heard back from Scott.
On Friday, September 1st, I had the day off. At approximately 10:00 am I traveled to Prestige Pavers in an effort to talk to someone face to face about this situation. When I arrived there, I found the building unlocked and open but no one inside. I waited about 15 minutes for someone to arrive but nobody ever did. I then sat at a desk and wrote an entire page of text, describing the problem I was having with my pavers. It was probably a page and a half of 81/2 x 11 paper describing the problem, requesting contact of some sort, and providing my home phone, cell phone and work phone numbers.
I have not been contacted.
Hence… this MFR to try to document this situation.
